Dr. Katz received her bachelor of science degree in human biology – human health and disease from Brown University and earned her Doctor of Medicine from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY.
Following her residency, Dr. Katz was selected to serve as the Chief Resident of Quality Improvement at the New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center where she was responsible for managing departmental patient safety initiatives and quality goals, as well as cultivating high impact quality improvement research from house staff.
Dr. Katz has published and presented numerous research papers on various medical topics. Her special interests include preventative medicine, high value care and women’s health. When she is not working, Dr. Katz enjoys baking and playing with her children.
