Dr. Krauss is board certified in internal and integrative medicine and received her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she graduated with honors. She went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New York.
Dr. Krauss emphasizes prevention in her practice, and sees patients 16 years old and up. Her goal is to get her patients to make healthy lifestyle changes, and using her background in nutrition and integrative medicine, will always steer them in that direction and avoid medications when it is possible to do so. Dr. Krauss has done community outreach by discussing women’s health issues and preventive medicine on News 12 Westchester and WVOX radio, and has written columns for The Pelham Weekly.
Professional memberships for Dr. Krauss include Medical Society of New York, Westchester County Medical Society, and American Osteopathic Association. She was in private practice for 12 years in Pelham Manor prior to joining Westmed Medical Group in December 2011. Her hospital affiliations are with Sound Shore Medical Center and White Plains Hospital.
