Dr. Matut is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He received his bachelor of arts degree with a major in chemistry from New York University. He then was awarded his medical degree from SUNY “ Health Science Center at Brooklyn, where he received academic honors. He completed his internship and residency at St. Luke’s “ Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, NY.
He has practiced for 16 years with West Care Medical Associates in New York, NY. It is an eight-physician, hospital-based, OB/GYN medical group.
Dr. Matut’s areas of clinical focus are minimally invasive surgery, including total laparoscopic hysterectomy, robotic assisted myomectomy, hysteroscopic myomectomy and endometrial ablation.
He joined Westmed in September 2015.
