Dr. Anthony is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in skin conditions of adults and children as well as laser and cosmetic procedures. She is an assistant clinical professor in dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Prior to joining Westmed, Dr. Anthony was an instructor in dermatology at Harvard Medical School while practicing at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Most recently, she was the Director of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Doctors Brooklyn Heights and practiced at the Mount Sinai East 85th Street Skin and Laser Center in NYC.
She received her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Anthony has special interest and expertise in atypical moles, dermoscopy, melanoma, skin cancer, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, cosmetic procedures (botox, fillers, laser treatment) for non-invasive skin rejuvenation, PRP for hair loss and scars/keloids.
She has authored 20+ presentations and publications for national and international dermatology meetings and peer-reviewed journals. In addition to community outreach, Dr. Anthony has provided skin cancer screenings at LPGA golf tournaments and currently serves as a USTA dermatology consultant providing screenings and treatment for players at the US Open Tennis Championships.
