Dr. Manuel Tejera received a bachelor of science degree in biology from St. John’s University in Jamaica, NY. He then was awarded his medical degree from Zaragoza University Medical School in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, NJ.
Prior to joining Westmed, Dr. Tejera was an internist at DOCS Medical Group in Yonkers and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Dr. Tejera is affiliated with St. John’s Riverside Hospital, Yonkers. He is a member of the American Medical Association.
He is fluent in Spanish in addition to English.
