Dr. Lee is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical dermatology, treating skin conditions of adults and children.
She was awarded her medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her medicine internship at the University of Chicago Hospital followed by a dermatology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she served as chief resident. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Prior to joining Westmed, Dr. Lee was a clinical assistant professor in the department of dermatology at Stony Brook University Hospital. She is highly trained in dermoscopy and treatment of a wide range of skin conditions including melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancers, atypical nevi, acne, eczema, psoriasis, immunobullous diseases, and other complex dermatologic conditions. In addition to her clinical practice, she led quality improvement initiatives as the quality improvement director, and taught many residents training in dermatology as the associate residency program director. She is committed to providing quality patient care and improving patient safety.
Dr. Lee has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national academic meetings, and was the primary investigator in clinical trials investigating innovative dermatologic medications. She recently completed a medical mission trip to the Galapagos and is dedicated to skin cancer prevention and public health.
