OUR MISSION
To engage the public to advocate for and invest in the preservation, conservation, use, and enjoyment of the 18,000 acres of Westchester County Parks.
HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
Without the action of the Westchester Parks Foundation, beloved community programs would disappear, and a strong, independent advocate for parks would be silenced. Children would not gather at a camp to call their own, volunteers would be immobilized, and a dedicated investment in the future of our park system would cease.
Westchester Parks Foundation seeks to preserve our precious parks, one of Westchester’s most valuable assets, for future generations.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
You can make a difference for the parks and trails that you love! Westchester County’s 50+ parks, trails, and open spaces give so much. Your donation allows us to continue to invest in parks and programs such as Camp Morty, Volunteers, and the park enhancements and improvements that keep our parks beautiful and open for all to enjoy.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Since 2015, over 19,000 members of the community have contributed over 59,000 hours of service to Westchester’s incomparable parks. Our volunteers include companies interested in a team building activity, or anyone looking to put their skills to good use to help out at your favorite county parks! There are opportunities available year-round!
